Children who want to learn - for themselves!

Building communities with confident, collaborative, and capable KIDS.

What is autonomy?

Research and experience both show that extrinsic rewards and consequences only bring cooperation, not internal drive - and only as long as they continue being applied. That’s more work, and not actually effort put into learning.

Autonomy - the ability and belief in oneself to make choices - builds internal motivation. Intrinsically motivated people set goals, highly achieve, and have a greater sense of satisfaction with their lives.
